Sheila Vashee is the Chief Marketing Officer at Figma, overseeing the marketing, communications, growth and customer support teams. Prior to joining Figma, Sheila served as Chief Marketing Officer and Consumer GM at Ethos, VP of Marketing and Growth at Opendoor, and was the second marketing hire at Dropbox, scaling the team to 80 people and 1 billion in revenue. She is also currently a Venture partner at Basis Set Ventures, an early stage investing firm, advising early stage companies on growth and operations. She started her career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and holds a BA from Stanford in Economics and an MBA from UC Berkeley.
