Lynn Farmer is Chief Audience and Engagement Officer (CAEO) at the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia), where she leads the strategy to connect people with art and ideas through marketing, media, education, volunteers, programs and visitor engagement. A strategic leader and brand innovator, Lynn brings more than 25 years of experience advancing audience growth, inclusion and organizational transformation. Previously, as Vice President and Communications at Twin Cities PBS (TPT), she guided award-winning initiatives to expand digital reach, community impact and audience diversity. Lynn also served as Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Hamline University, where she elevated the institution’s brand and strengthened enrollment marketing strategies. Earlier in her career at Target Corporation, she led national in-store marketing strategy and managed multi-billion-dollar apparel businesses, shaping brand experience that reached millions of customers nationwide. Known for combining data-driven insight with creative vision, Lynn builds authentic connections between organizations and the audiences they serve.
