Carol is a geek with a passion for technology and solving customer problems. She’s been in tech marketing for most of her career, starting as a product manager at Apple. She enjoys scaling and transforming companies and has done that in varying leadership roles at Apple, Trend Micro, Google, VMware and now as CMO of Cohesity, an AI-powered data security company.
She is particularly proud of the high-performance teams she’s developed and the fact that many of her prior teammates are doing impactful work across leading tech companies. She continues to mentor humans via the HBS women entrepreneurship program and Monte Jade, an AAPI professional organization. Carol grew up in West Virginia and is a proud mountaineer! She has a BA from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
