Beth leads the global marketing function at Inspire, overseeing direct-to-consumer and medical marketing, brand strategy, content and community engagement, product and therapy marketing.
Prior to Inspire, Beth spent 11 years at UnitedHealth Group in leadership roles spanning Consumer Strategy and Transformation for Optum, head of Brand and Corporate Marketing for UnitedHealthcare, and founder of the Provider Marketing and Communications function. She also led UHG’s COVID-19 provider response efforts and managed the custom marketing team for the Employer and Individual National Accounts business.
Before UnitedHealth Group, Beth spent a decade at Target in roles including management of the Target Foundation, corporate strategy, and internal communications. She began her career in advertising, supporting clients such as General Mills, U.S. Bank, 3M, Easter Seals, and Definity Health prior to its acquisition by UnitedHealth Group.
A certified change management practitioner, Beth served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP), a global nonprofit dedicated to advancing the discipline of change management.
Beth graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts, completing her B.A. in three years. She studied Comparative Politics and Policy at the London School of Economics and earned a master’s in Business Communications from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. In 2020–2021, she was a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow at the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Outside of work, Beth and her husband Tom are raising three young children. She is active in the nonprofit community and has served on the boards of the Ordway Performing Arts Center, Hennepin County Library Foundation, Stages Theatre, and the Greater Twin Cities United Way.
