Tamara Thompson is a visionary brand leader known for driving significant brand transformations and building “heart-forward,” impactful platform narratives for major technology companies.
She currently serves as VP of Intuit Brand Marketing, where she’s responsible for defining the Intuit platform brand strategy. In this critical role, she works to evolve Intuit from a house of brands into a cohesive branded house, creating a unified, customer-first narrative across the portfolio, including TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp. Her focus is on accelerating growth and strengthening the company’s reputation as an AI-driven expert platform.
Prior to Intuit, Tamara was the VP of Brand and Creative at Autodesk, where she led a global team covering brand strategy, advertising, partnerships, social media, and events. During her tenure, she was a key architect in the company’s evolution, successfully shifting Autodesk from a B2B software model with 150+ products to a design-led cloud platform for innovators. She has also held significant global brand and advertising roles at companies such as Intel and Applied Materials, giving her deep expertise in leading integrated marketing campaigns and elevating brand narratives on a global scale.
